Welcome!
Ground breaking for Dog Gone Tired Sanctuary and Rescue occurred in Aqua Dulce, California, in June 2013. A few months later, after much hard work, the shared dream of its dedicated founders was realized when a safe haven had finally come together with spacious dog runs, exercise yards, and a play pool; all ready for the arrival of their first very special residents.
But the maintenance of this safe and happy haven is a full time job and construction needs are ongoing.

When not playing , dogs also have their own safe and clean space to rest.

There’s nothing like a quick dip in the pool to cool a puppy down and keep fit.

Because of the traumas we suffered, we have special needs, and are not welcome into other humans’ homes.
Had it not been for the efforts of the founders of Dog Gone Tired Sanctuary and Rescue, we would have stayed homeless and would have eventually been killed.
